Season of Giving 2022

44 Business Capital‘s Dana Neas and Roxanne Selwyn again lead this year’s Season of Giving Project asking 44 staff to donate to two great causes. A total of $5,300 was raised in a short period of time. On Giving Tuesday, Dana Neas, Joe Dreyer, and Greg Poehlmann presented a check to Elmwood Park Zoo’s Jen Conti, Development Director, Elisa Tyler, Manager of Education Engagement with Hoo-Houdini, the Eastern Screech Owl. 44 leadership made the visit and donation to the Trail of the Jaguar exhibit at the Elmwood Park Zoo in Norristown, PA. The donations are earmarked for the Zoo’s PAWS Membership (Providing Access to Wildlife and the Sciences). Local families with financial insecurity will have an opportunity to apply for and obtain free family membership to the zoo.

The second donation will help with hurricane relief for the Dykstra family of North Port, Florida. Roxanne Selwyn presented a check to Shauna Dykstra who along with her husband Jacob and two small children lost their home in Hurricane Ian. Living in a temporary shelter until they can find housing, the Dykstra’s will use the donation to assist with furnishing a new home with essentials.
