As the small business lending division of Berkshire Bank, Team 44 BC stepped up in the Philadelphia community during our Xtraordinary Week of community service, proving that even small actions can spark big change. The XTEAM Volunteer and Giving Program helps turn teamwork into impact. With each completed project, working side-by-side with dozens of our nonprofit partners to put community first, they’re walking away energized, inspired and grateful to give back to the communities where they live and work.
44BC visited the 🦁🐵 Elmwood Park Zoo coming together to craft Papier-mâché enrichment items for the animals, ensuring they stay happy, physically, and mentally active. Enrichment, like puzzle-feeders, mimics how animals forage or hunt in the wild—a fun and essential part of zookeeping!
🎨 Our team donated newspapers, egg cartons, paint, balloons, and brushes to make it happen. These creations will be featured during Pride Day on June 28th! 🌈
