The Meadow's School Purchases a New Building and Completes Modern Renovation Project

CHALLENGE

The borrower's lease was expiring, and they were unable to find a property that met all their needs. The property they did ultimately identify, which was very visible on a main highway and had potential for expansion, was significantly more than they wanted to spend and required extensive renovations. Midway through the closing process COVID restrictions were enforced, further complicating their dream. The borrower qualified for an SBA 7(a) loan which lowered their injection requirement and financed all the improvements. The construction is now complete, all permits obtained, and the school has opened at the new location.
