Ronald Burdette worked as a teenager at a Blackjack Pizza franchise in Aurora, CO from 1994-98. The owner of the business became a father figure and mentor to him. After serving in the Marines from 1997 to 2002 and the Army from 2002 to 2018, the owner of that Blackjack Pizza, approached him about buying the business. Ron had the opportunity to acquire a second Blackjack franchise in a high-volume store in Pueblo, CO.
