Student Retreat for At Risk Youth

“I cannot speak more highly of 44 Business Capital. In addition to the consistently pleasant and highly professional interactions throughout the SBA loan process, I was impressed and, at times, amazed at the problem solving abilities and flexibility brought to the table by that organization. Our loan was not an easy one to place and we experienced several potentially fatal hurdles along the way. 44 found a way to overcome those hurdles and helped us obtain a timely closure. Thank you Greg Poehlmann!”

CHALLENGE

VisionQuest is a for profit business providing alternatives to incarceration for at risk youth. They owned a property in Okeechobee, FL which served as a retreat for their students. The property is unique with approximately 110 acres. Their current loan with one of the largest banks in America ballooned in February 2011 and was not renewed. They needed approximately $800,000 to pay off this bank and roll in some closing costs. 44 Business Capital was able to ascertain that the borrower had an SBA loan in the past and handled it satisfactorily. The company had been around for over 30 years and had an excellent management team. We were able to determine that we had a low enough loan value to make the deal work based on all the other positive aspects.
